Traveling by motorcycle through Kyrgyzstan is an unique adventure, one that allows you to explore its breathtaking landscapes. From the ancient Silk Road ruins of Tash Rabat to the towering peaks of the Tian Shan mountains, this journey along this Land of Nomads promises both thrill and adventure.
We will ride through stunning alpine lakes like Kel-Suu and Song-Kul. As we journey through this Land of Nomads, we will dive deep into Kyrgyzstan’s rich nomadic traditions, engaging with local communities and experiencing their warm hospitality firsthand. On our motorbikes, we will traverse amazing gorges and valleys, such as the Barksoon Gorge and the vibrant Skazka Canyon. Along the way, we’ll taste the exquisite flavors of Kyrgyz cuisine, all while enjoying the genuine warmth of the local people.

1,800 km of Kyrgyz landscapes and culture
Experience the thrill of a 1,800 km motorcycle tour through Kyrgyzstan’s stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. Starting in Bishkek, ride through high-altitude lakes, historic sites, and remote valleys of this Land of Nomads. Adventure seekers and motorcycle enthusiasts, this tour offers you an unforgettable journey through Kyrgyzstan’s natural beauty and cultural treasures.
Transfer from the airport to the hotel to rest and refresh. In the afternoon, we will pick up the motorcycles and prepare them for the motorcycle route through Kyrgyzstan starting the next day. Welcome dinner at the hotel.
On this stage of the motorcycle journey through Kyrgyzstan, we’ll travel from Bishkek to Lake Son-Kul. We’ll pass through the Too-Ashu Pass and the village of Kyzyl-Oi, admiring the stunning landscapes, enjoying the winding roads, and discovering charming local villages along the way. Our last offroad section of the day will be the trails up to Lake Son-Kul, one of Central Asia’s most beautiful alpine lakes in an unique environment. We’ll spend the night in a yurt at Lake Son-Kul (altitude: 3,000 meters).
In this next stage of the motorcycle journey through Kyrgyzstan, we’ll venture from Lake Son-Kul to the Tash Rabat caravanserai. We’ll enjoy an exhilarating off-road ride through stunning landscapes, including canyons, mountains, deserts, and alpine forests, with winding mountain tracks through passes reaching 3,600 meters in altitude! We’ll traverse majestic mountain scenery and delve into history with a visit to the Tash Rabat caravanserai. From Tash Rabat, we’ll continue to Naryn for an overnight stay at a hotel.
From Naryn, we’ll head to the southernmost point of the country to one of its most beautiful valleys, which is home to the stunning alpine lake of Kel-Suu. This is one of the most remote and spectacular areas in Kyrgyzstan… it will leave you in awe! We’ll experience the vast, open landscapes of Central Asia like true overlanders. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the valley. Overnight in wooden cabins in the valley (altitude: 3,300 meters).
We’ll return by the same route to Naryn and continue northwards to lower elevations, traveling through spectacular roads and tracks. We’ll conclude the route in the city of Kochkor. Overnight at a hotel.
In this stage, we’ll descend to Lake Issyk-Kul and ride along its southern shore. This lake is the second-largest alpine lake in the world. We’ll marvel at its turquoise waters surrounded by towering mountains. Additionally, we’ll visit the captivating Skazka Canyon and explore the spectacular Barksoon Valley. We’ll then arrive in Karakol. Overnight at a hotel.
Today, we head back along the southern shore of Lake Issyk Kul, heading west. Today’s stage will allow us to enjoy the final off-road segments of this adventure in Kyrgyzstan.
On the return to Bishkek, we’ll make a stop to visit the Burana Tower. Upon arriving in the capital, we’ll return the motorcycles. The afternoon will be free for rest and exploring the city before our final farewell dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
It’s time to head home with a trove of new experiences! Depending on your flight schedule, we’ll arrange your transfer to the airport. Thank you for joining us, safe travels and see you in next motorcycle adventures!
