Transpyrenees Moto Tour
Lost in The Pyrenees
Ride the Legendary Trails of the Pyrenees
Crossing the Pyrenees by motorcycle is more than just a ride: it’s a journey across one of Europe’s most iconic mountain ranges. From the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, we will connect two seas and cross the natural border between the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe.
Over six stages, we’ll ride from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic through the Catalonian Pyrenees, Andorra, the high trails of Huesca (Aragón), the wild valleys of Val d’Aran, and the legendary passes of the French Pyrenees, Navarra and Basque Country regions. Winding roads, forest tracks, and remote valleys reveal the true spirit of these mountains. We’ll cross timeless villages, enjoy Pyrenean cuisine, and finish with ocean views from Mount Jaizkibel. A complete crossing of the Pyrenees — pure adventure, from coast to coast.

1,300 km of Pyrenean adventure
Our motto is “adventure motorcycle tours in unexpected places.” The Pyrenees might not seem like one of the most remote destinations, but trust us: there are some truly incredible and unexpected places there. We know them like the back of our hand. As we’re based in Barcelona, this is one of our home territories.
Imagine starting by the Mediterranean and finishing by the Atlantic. Along the way, you’ll cross three countries, including one tucked right in the heart of the mountains. You’ll climb some of the highest trails in the Huesca Pyrenees, ride along the northern side of the range in France on one of its most iconic narrow mountain roads, and towards the end, flow through the winding roads surrounded by the lush forests of Navarra and the Basque Country, finishing with a breathtaking view of the ocean from Mount Jaizkibel.
Arrive at the hotel in Roses, where we’ll hold the welcome briefing followed by our first dinner together.
We start the day riding along the scenic roads of Cap de Creus, enjoying its coastal views. Next, we take forest tracks through Bassegoda, immersing ourselves in quiet mountain landscapes. After lunch, we head into the Pyrenees via trails near Setcases and Ribes de Freser, gradually gaining altitude. The stage finishes with a ride over the Collada de Tosses before reaching Puigcerdà, where we settle in for the evening.
Today we ride the famous “Smugglers’ Route” of Andorra, crossing in and out of the country on mountain tracks. Next, we enjoy the stunning panoramic views along the trails of Llesuí. The day concludes as we descend to Vielha via the Port de la Bonaigua, taking in the high-altitude landscapes of the Pyrenees.
In the morning, we ride the spectacular trails up to Saut d’es Pish. Next, we descend toward the Aragonese Pyrenees, passing the Llauset Reservoir along the way. After Castilló de Sos, we take the trail from Chia to Plan. The route continues through the Bielsa Valley, climbing to high mountain viewpoints with breathtaking views of Monte Perdido (which means “Lost Mountain”). The day ends in the valley, where we rest and prepare for the next stage.
On this fully paved stage, we cross into the French Pyrenees to ride some of the most spectacular roads in the region. We’ll tackle the legendary Tourmalet, famous for its challenging climbs and sweeping views, and enjoy the scenic D-918, a road that winds through dramatic mountain landscapes. After exploring these iconic French routes, we return to the Spanish Pyrenees via the Larrau Pass, descending into the Irati Valley. It’s a day of classic Pyrenean asphalt roads, combining challenging riding with some of the most picturesque vistas of the region.
We journey into the Basque regions, exploring their unique landscapes on a mix of secondary and tertiary roads. The route takes us through lush forests and scenery that feels straight out of a storybook. Along the way, we’ll enjoy quiet villages and winding mountain passes, immersing ourselves in the rhythm of the region. We’ll reach Mount Jaizkibel, where panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean stretch before us, providing a memorable finale to our Pyrenean adventure. The day concludes with a farewell dinner at the hotel, the perfect opportunity to reflect on the diverse landscapes, cultural experiences, and unforgettable roads we’ve traversed over the past days.
After breakfast, we say our goodbyes and conclude the tour services. There is time to travel back to Barcelona to return your motorcycle if rented there, or to continue your journey home or on your own extended route!
